Why I Founded SGADF to Support Struggling Athletes

The Hidden Cost of Indian Sports India has immense athletic potential hidden in its villages and small towns. However, modern sports require professional coaching, dietary regimes, registration fees, and equipment. A professional 10m Air Pistol, for example, can cost more than many rural families earn in a year.

During my journey, I saw dozens of talented shooters and athletes quit simply because they could not afford bullets, shoes, or train tickets to national trials.

The Launch of SGADF To bridge this gap, I founded the **School Games and Activity Development Foundation (SGADF)**. Our mission is simple: *No talent should go waste due to financial constraints.*

SGADF focuses on:

- Equipment Bank: Donating shooting kits, sports shoes, and cricket gear to high-potential underprivileged athletes.

- Sponsorship Drives: Funding travel, accommodation, and entry fees for national championships.

- Grassroots Camps: Hosting sports clinics in rural schools to discover and screen raw talent.

Scaling Our Impact We started with small distribution drives in Greater Noida. Now, SGADF coordinates with schools and academies across multiple states. We believe that sporting success is not a luxury—it is a national pride that belongs to everyone.

Excellent read. The work you are doing through SGADF is fantastic—providing equipment to young sports talent is exactly what grassroots sports in India needs.
