Born on 29 November 2002 in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, with strong roots in Sitamadhi, Bihar, Shivam Thakur has emerged as one of India's most accomplished young shooters, visionary sports leaders, and youth development pioneers. At just 23 years of age, he has transformed his passion into a mission that is impacting millions across India and beyond.

Shivam's journey began not in shooting but on the cricket field, where he represented the Kerala Under-17 Cricket Team. In 2017, he made a courageous decision to change his path and pursue competitive shooting. What followed was an extraordinary rise to international recognition. Specializing in the 10-Meter Air Pistol event and training under Coach Philippe, Shivam earned an All India Rank of 9, County Asian Rank of 5, and County World Rank of 3, placing him among the world's elite shooters.

His remarkable career includes multiple international gold, silver, and bronze medals across prestigious championships, including the Asian Games, World Games, SAF Games, Indo-Nepal Championships, Thailand Championships, Dubai Games, and numerous international county competitions. Every medal represents years of discipline, sacrifice, and relentless determination.

However, Shivam's vision extends far beyond personal achievements.

In November 2017, he founded the School Games and Activity Development Foundation (SGADF) with a dream of making sports and holistic education accessible to every child. Today, SGADF has positively impacted more than 40 lakh students across India through sports competitions, educational initiatives, leadership programs, and international championships. From metropolitan cities to rural villages, the organization has become a catalyst for opportunity and transformation.

As the founder of KheloGram and 18 national NGOs, Shivam continues to create platforms that empower youth through sports, education, leadership, and social development. His affiliations with globally respected organizations such as TAFISA, IAKS, ICSSPE, UNICEF, UNESCO, and WHO reflect his commitment to building a healthier, stronger, and more empowered generation.

Shivam often says that his goal is simple: to earn more medals than his age and help India become a true sporting powerhouse. Through every competition, initiative, and innovation, he is proving that one individual's passion can inspire millions.
